Habitat for Humanity project seeks out military volunteers
Darrell Todd Maurina During their six-month stay in the captains' career course at Fort Leonard Wood, Capt. Charles Comfort and Capt. Nathan Ferguson will learn skills that help them in a wide variety of military projects ranging from civilian reconstruction in Iraq to demolition and munitions work.
However, in their off-duty time, they'll be volunteering at a Habitat for Humanity project building a home on vacant property south of downtown Waynesville.
